Protein Smoothie Bowl

If you’re not particularly into eggs, need some inspiration for an egg-free breakfast or just fancy something sweet for breakfast, look no further.

I love having a mid-morning vegetable smoothie but for breakfast, I need the ritual of actually eating something or I don’t feel satisfied. Although I gave up breakfast cereals many, many moons ago, I still miss their crunch and sweetness.

If you’re like me, this smoothie bowl has the best of both worlds; it’s technically a smoothie but it’s made thick so you have to eat it with a spoon. Add toppings of different textures and voila! Sweet, crunchy, munchy breakfast cereal craving…. satisfied!

Also, this smoothie bowl is handy if you don’t have much time in the mornings, you can make the smoothie the night before and then all you need to do in the morning is add the toppings and you’re out the door!
