This plan has been specifically created to help you balance your blood sugar and keep your energy levels stable all day.

Eating regularly is a good way to maintain your energy, but knowing what to eat is vital! This plan contains delicious, nourishing recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and even dessert.

The recipes are high in fibre, healthy fats, protein and slow-releasing carbohydrates in the form of vegetables and whole grains. Vegetables and low-glycemic fruits are a key component of every recipe to provide fibre and antioxidants, both of which the body needs to protect against disease.

Low-glycemic foods are quality carbohydrates that are broken down slowly and are less likely to cause a spike in blood sugar.

Although as women our hormones dictate much of our lives, having stable blood sugar is important for everyone, children included!

So while this plan is set to serve two, it is easy to amend for a family.

I understand how challenging it can be when some members of the family don’t want to eat certain foods. With that in mind, I have gone creative with family-favourites such as creamy pasta with kale, salmon cakes, veggie-packed burgers and sweet potato pancakes which everyone can enjoy. All with a focus on healthy, nutrient-dense ingredients to nourish and energise every member of your family.
